<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood capable of independently and firmly mounting a side modesty panel with simple work. <P>SOLUTION: A main body 20 is mounted on a top face 10a of a hood main body 10, and an exhaust passage is formed in the main body 20. In this range hood, a mounted portion 21 is formed on a side face 20a of the main body 20, a depth-side mounting portion 42 and a front-side mounting portion 43 are mounted on a main body portion 41 of the side modesty panel 40, the side modesty panel 40 is slid and pressed along the hood main body 10 to fit and connect the depth-side mounting portion 42 with the locked portion 21, and the front-side mounting portion 43 is fixed to the side face 20a of the main body 20 by a screw 44 to mount the side modesty panel 40.
