PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a housing and operation system of a miniature tube having no partition wall since a conventional system for housing the miniature tube in small spaces surrounded one by one by the partition wall is improper because the miniature tube for handling a large number of compounds or biochemical specimens to be inspected in a research institution or a medical institution is miniaturized rapidly. SOLUTION: The housing and operation system 1 of the miniature tube is constituted so that a large number of the miniature tubes are arranged on the upper surface of each of slide type bases 3 in one row by the stems provided to the bottom parts of the miniature tubes 2 and a large number of the slide type bases 3 are carried on the rails 7 provided on a base holder 6 to be housed in parallel. At the time of housing/takeout of the specimen with respect to the miniature tubes or at the time of operation such as analysis or measurement, the slide type base including the required miniature tubes is taken out to the outside of a frame to be operated and, after the completion of operation, it is returned to the original position to be kept.
