METHOD FOR ASSESSING TOXICITY OF POLYMERS USED FOR MANUFACTURING BASIS FOR REMOVABLE DENTURE

The method for assessing the toxicity of the polymers used for manufacturing the basis for the removable denture provides for the use of the live bioculture. The freeze-dried photobacteria are used with this aim. The bacteria are added to the aqueous extracts of the acrylic plastics and then they are study in bioluminometer. The inhibition of the luminescence of photobacterial system is recorded for assessing the toxicity of the polymers.
