<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross-flow fan capable of reducing noise while acquiring the same air flow as heretofore. <P>SOLUTION: In this cross-flow fan, the cross section of a blade vertically cut with respect to the longitudinal direction of a fan is formed in a curved state at both pressure face side and negative pressure face side, and the ratio α/β of the incident angle α and outgoing angle β of the cross section is set to be 0.20 to 0.32. Further, the setting angle formed by the straight line connecting the center of the cross-flow fan with the outer peripheral edge of the blade and that connecting the outer peripheral edge with the inner peripheral edge is set to be 20° to 30°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
