<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining structure which prevents the generation of environmentally problematic substances such as a styrene monomer, is mechanically tough, not damaged when acidic or alkaline wastewater flows in it, and resistant to generated hydrogen sulfide, and prevents the hindrance of the lining by underground water during lining and the occurrence of distortion in it and a lining method. <P>SOLUTION: The lining structure of the inner surface of a pipe line is formed from an outer film tube containing a water-impermeable plastic film contacted closely with the inner surface of the pipe line as a main material and a fiber-plastic composite tube contacted closely with the inner surface of the outer film tube. In the fiber-plastic composite tube, the periphery side is formed from a resin-impregnated fiber layer in which a fiber layer containing carbon fibers as a main material is impregnated with an epoxy resin, and the inner surface side is a plastic inner film.
