PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain wall which facilitates mounting of an inside panel and an outside panel in a building skeleton. SOLUTION: The curtain wall unit 10 is constructed by mounting the inside panel 12 and the outside panel 13 in a frame body 11 to define an intermediate air layer 14 therebetween, and allowing the intermediate air layer 14 to communicate with the outside via a lower ventilating hole 15 and an upper ventilating hole 16, to thereby lead air into the intermediate air layer 14. Herein the frame body 11 of the curtain wall unit 10 is arranged on an area between upper-story and lower-story floor slabs 2 vertically adjacent to each other by means of fasteners 3. Thus only by attaching the frame body 11 to the skeleton in the construction field, the inside panel 12 and the outside panel 13 are easily mounted to the building skeleton 1.
