PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the display state of a display image formed by a cathode ray tube with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The image correction system is equipped with: a second operation part 53 which specifies the change pattern of a beam orbit indicating different patterns depending upon the kinds of external factors to change the beam orbit from the variation of the beam orbit calculated by a first operation part 52, reads sensitivity data corresponding to the change pattern of the specific beam orbit from among a plurality of pieces of sensitivity data stored in a second memory section 54 and calculates a correction amount from the read out sensitivity data; and controllers 55, 56 and 57 which control at least either of the beam orbit of an electron beam released from an electron gun 31 or an input signal on the basis of the calculated correction amount.
