The card holder consists of several individual cards (1) connected to each other at the folding lines (2). It has a credit-card-sized base surface and its overall thickness (S) is less than 5 mm, preferably less than 3 mm, more preferably less than 2 mm, and best of all less than 1 mm. The individual cards are connected to each other concertina-wise and they are short sides (1a) and/or their long sides (1b).
