<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening support mechanism that can be assembled by a simple assembling method without using tools, screws, etc. with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The fitting part 4c of an arm 4 fits in a fitting hole 3aa provided in a bracket 3a in a rotatable way. In such a state, a pin 6 is inserted into the engagement hole 4a of the arm 4 at a touch from the opposite side, and the fitting parts 6b and 6c fit in a round hole 4aa and a slit 4ab, respectively. In this case, the bevel (a) of the engagement part 6ca pushes to widen the slit 4ab in a width direction, so the fitting part 6c fits in the slit 4ab smoothly. At this time, there is a snapping sense, when the engagement part 6ca passes through the slit 4ab to cause the slit 4ab to return to the former state due to resiliency. Thus, it can be confirmed that the pin 6 is fitted in the arm 4. After the engagement part 6ca engages in the slit 4ab, the engagement surface b of the engagement part 6ca confronts the engagement surface c of the slit 4ab to make contact with it.
