VACUUM-PRESSURE SWING ADSORBING TYPE OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum-pressure swing adsorbing type oxygen concentrator capable of lowering of the whole power consumption of an oxygen concentrator.

SOLUTION: The vacuum-pressure swing adsorbing type oxygen concentrator is equipped with a plurality of adsorbing cylinders which house a adsorbent for adsorbing a nitrogen gas, a pressure swing type compressor for sending compressed air into the adsorbing cylinders and a pressure swing type vacuum pump for reducing the pressures in the adsorbing cylinders. The suction gas volume of the pressure swing type vacuum pump at the time of no-load is made larger than the discharge air volume of the pressure swing type compressor at the time of no-load.
