PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a device by fitting a blended body of unbaked ethylene tetrafluoride resin and a mold releasing agent to a support plate and providing them to the surface of a releasing agent coating device for coating a roller with the releasing agent on the side where the surface contacts the roller. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of releasing agent-impregnated heat-resistant felt 7 as a cleaning member, a releasing agent blending rod 10 consisting of a blended body of unbaked ethylene tetrafluoride resin and the releasing agent, and an Al housing 21 as a support member, and the rod 10 provided on the surface of the felt 7 is fitted to the Al housing 21 by using, for example, a double-side adhesive tape. A fixing device using this releasing agent coating device is provided with a heat roller 1, a pressure elastic roller 2, copying paper 3, toner 4, a heater 5, a peeling claw 6, a leaf spring 8, a heater cover 9, and a copy-in paper guide plate 13, the releasing agent is applied from the rod 10 stably for a long period, and cleaning performance is obtained by the surface felt 7, thereby eliminating the need for an extra cleaning member such as a blade. |
