PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which permits high precision interpretation and temp. sensing of a colored image in a near-infrared region and which comprises a compatibilized mixture contg. an electron-donating infrared absorber org. compd., an electron-accepting compd. and a particular compd. CONSTITUTION:An electron-donating infrared absorber org. compd. (A) {e.g., bis-3,3-[bis-1,1-(p-dimethylaminophenyl)ethyleno-2-]phthali-de}, a compd. (B) which is an electron acceptor to component A (e.g., benzyl 4-hydroxylbenzoate) and a compd. (C) which is a reaction medium causing the electron donation and acceptance reaction between components A and B to reversibly occur in a particular temp. range (e.g., n-stearyl alcohol) are mixed together in an A to B to C wt. proportion of 1:0.1-10:1-100 and melted at 80-100 deg.C, thereby preparing a uniform compatibilized mixture.
