PURPOSE:To enable a stencil paper to be processed in a type like plural face successive copying, by a method wherein the rotation of a platen roller is temporarily stopped once by judging whether a process range of a stencil paper has a length enough successive copy plural faces or not. CONSTITUTION:A stencil paper 23 is successively processed according to the feed of a copy 8. When the rear end of the copy 8 is detected by 8 second sensor 14, a controller 35 to which a detection signal of the second sensor 14 and an output signal of a two face successive copying key 32 are inputted judges whether a residual process range of the stencil paper 23 has a length enough to process another face or not by operation via a RAM 37 at a point of time when the copy B and the stencil paper 23 ere fed by a length 1 from said position. When the residual process range thereof has the length enough to process another face, a platen roller 25 is stopped to be rotated. A pair of carrier rollers 6 and a pair of discharge rollers 10 are further rotated while the platen roller 25 is stopped. After the copy 8 is thoroughly discharged on a tray 12, they are stopped. Then, the copy 8 discharged on the tray 12 is again fed from an inserting slot 9.
