PURPOSE:To provide a large-sized molded product to which a mold surface whose surface and inside are free from a hollow and void distortion is transferred in a comparatively short period of time, by a method wherein a raw material solution mainly composed of vinyl monomer containing a polymer or not containing the polymer is cast within a mold frame, which is polymerized and cured under heating and pressurization. CONSTITUTION:Raw material solution mainly composed of a vinyl monomer containing a polymer or not containing a polymer has a monomer composition obtained by making use of a vinyl monomer or a vinylidene monomer mainly or a monomer composition into which a polymer which is meltable into the monomer exists in a molten state as its main agent. A material containing a polymerization initiator and various auxiliary agents or additive agents such as a polymerization accelerator are mixed up with the main agent all together or separately, and the same is molten. Raw material solution like this is cast within a mold frame and cured through polymerization under heating and pressurization, a large-sized molded product, which has little hollow on the surface or little foaming and void distortion on the inside and is excellent from an external appearance and functional points of views, can be molded in a short period of time. |
