PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for exchanging a developing soln. and to improve workability by supplying the substantially unused developing soln. to the surfaces of PS plates to be used for each one sheet thereof and developing the plates, then supplying an aq. soln. or nonsensitizing liquid contg. a substantially unused surfactant to the surfaces of the printing plates and processing the plates. CONSTITUTION:Pumps 12, 12' operate to supply the diluted developing soln. onto the exposed photosensitive planographic printing plate (PS plate) from a processing liquid supplying nozzle 7 at the time of subjecting the PS plate to the developing process with an automatic developing machine. The unused rinsing liquid or nonsensitizing liquid prepd. by mixing the rinsing liquid or nonsensitizing liquid in a rinsing liquid and nonsensitizing liquid tank 22 and the water for dilution in a dilution water tank 22' fed respectively by pumps 23, 23' is then supplied from a processing liquid supplying nozzle 7'' to the PS plate which is discharged by passing a rinsing process section 2. The high-quality PS plate is thus obtd. by using a relatively small volume of the developing soln. The always stable processing after the development is permitted even when many sheets of the plates are processed. |
