PURPOSE:To permit delivery of a film by a required length by providing cutters freely vertically movably and a driving mechanism which moves the cutter vertically on the position between guide members and vertical guide rollers. CONSTITUTION:An operator lifts the upper part of the front end of the delivered film 16a and pushes the button of a switch. Then, an actuator of a solenoid 29 extends to bring tongue parts 20a, 21a sides of guide members 25, 26 to a parallel state, following which a motor 31 runs to lower the upper cutter 40 via a chain 38 and cuts the film 16b between the tongue parts 20a, 21a of the guides 20, 21 and the guide members 25, 26 in the position outer by a prescribed distance from the tongue parts 20a, 21a. The cutter 40 existing in the lower position at this time arrives at the position near the top end of a chain wheel 32. Since the motor 31 continues to run slightly further, the cutter 40 arrives at the upper left position of the chain wheel 32 and the cutter 40 cutting the film 16b arrives at the right side position of the chain wheel 33. The cutters stop when the motor 31 stops running. The cut film 16b is housed in the prescribed position. |
