PURPOSE:To change the acceleration of an AC motor continuously, by a method wherein the change of the output frequency of an inverter with respect to a time is reduced near the starting point and the finishing point of the frequency change. CONSTITUTION:An operating means 16 operates the frequency of an AC voltage, sent to an induction motor 9 by an inverter circuit 3, based on an output frequency, inputted from an output frequency inputting means 14, and an accelerating time, inputted from an acceleration and deceleration time setting means 15. The operating means 16 reduces the change of the output frequency with respect to a time at times immediately after starting of acceleration as well as immediately before arriving at a set output frequency upon acceleration and immediately after starting deceleration as well as immediately before stopping upon deceleration whereby the same means 16 operates the output frequency so that the output frequencies upon acceleration and deceleration effect S-type change substantially. |
