PURPOSE:To prevent the color stain of the title material, without deteriorating the photographic sensitivity, and to make possible to be incorporated also in the thinned photosensitive material, and to reduce the change in performance even after preservation for a long period by incorporating a homopolymer or a copolymer which has a terminal group having at least >=8C, and contains a specified repeating unit, in the photographic material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains a compd. having the terminal group having >=8C, in the homopolymer or the copolymer contg. the repeating unit shown by formula I. In the formula, R1 is hydrogen atom. or alkyl group, etc., R2-R4 are each hydrogen or halogen atom. or carboxyl group, etc., L1 is a divalent bonding group, L2 is -COO- or -OCO- group, etc., R5 is hydrogen atom. or phenyl group, etc., Y is alkylene or aralkylene group, etc., Z is -O-, alkylene or aralkylene group, etc., G1 and G2 are each hydroxyl group, etc., G3 is sulfonamide or carbamide group, (m), (n) and (p)-(r) are each 0 or 1, when (p)=1, (q)=0, when (p)=0, (q)=1. Thus, the photographic sensitive material contains the novel color stain inhibitor capable of effectively removing an oxidant, and the thinned photosensitive material can be formed, and the change in performance is prevented, even after preservation for a long period. |
