PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a buffle plate of the oil pan inside and to facilitate manufacturing by controlling an engine by stopping it at the time when the lapse of more than the specified time after the feed stoppage of a lubrication oil being detected is decided. CONSTITUTION:An oil pan 12 abolishing the buffle plate of sectioning the internal part is provided at the lower side of an engine 1 and the oil strainer 14 purifying the lubrication oil 11 sucked up at the operation time of an oil pump 13 is arranged at the inner side center of this oil pan 12. To the engine 1 also the hydraulic switch 15 detecting the feeding stoppage of the oil 11 to the engine 1 by detecting the case of no pressure of the oil 11, if any, is fitted. The output signal of this hydraulic switch 15 is input to a control unit 16, whether the lapse of more than the specified time after the feeding stoppage of the oil 11 or not is decided thereby and the engine 1 is stopped by closing a fuel cut valve 6 at the YES decision time. |
