PURPOSE:To obtain superconducting ceramics having improved sintering properties and superconducting characteristics free from tailing in a resistance- temperature characteristic curve approximately at critical temperature by forming an oxide having a composition comprising Bi2O3, SrO, CaO, CuO and CdO as component substances.
