A bulb type fluorescent lamp comprises an upper cover (1), a fixed plate (3), and a glove (5). An air tube (4) is provided under the glove and a base (17) is connected to the fixed plate. A cut-out switch (9) is positioned on a projected part (7) around a seating part (8) drilled to the air tube so that air is exhausted through the air tube of the glove, the fixed plate and the upper cover (4)(6)(2). The base having projected parts (18)(19) and a projected lamp case (22) at the center is able to be inserted, engaged and disengaged at insertion cases (13)(14) of the fixed plate and a drilled part (12). Diode tubes (30)(31) are connected to the cap type terminals (20)(21) designed to be connected to the L type terminal (15)(16) when the base and the fixed plate are connected to each other.
