An exterior rear view mirror for a motor vehicle comprises two bracket arms 16, 18 each having a base portion 20, 24 adapted to be mounted on the vehicle body and an elongate portion 28, 30 of part-circular cross-section spaced from its base portion 20, 24. A clamp 36, 40, fast with a mirror housing 14, engages round the elongate portions 28, 30 of the arms 16, 18 so as to permit the housing 14 to be clamped to the arms 16, 18 at a selected orientation about the axis of said elongate portions 28, 30 and to hold said elongate portions 28, 30 in abutment with one another. <IMAGE> |
