The panel is formed of a row of collapsible elongate hollow cells; each cell comprises a base strip portion (47) and integral overlying strip portions ( 43,44) which do not overlap each other and are joined to the base portion at folds (45,46). Each overlying portion (43,44) is secured to the adjacent base portion (47), and vice versa, or to an end slat (161,162) to form the panel. The folds (45,46) are sharp, permanently set (e.g. heat-set) creases extending along the length of the cells on each face of the panel so as to bias the cells towards a flat configuration. The panel is suitable for use as an insulating window covering. |
