PURPOSE:To obtain a transparent resistor layer with an optimum resistance value and an even composition by using a glass matrix, a metal of the resistor component element penetrated in the clearances of the matrix, and/or an oxide, to compose the transparent resistor layer. CONSTITUTION:A heat-generating resistor layer 3, whose surface contacting to a pair of electrodes 2 arranged on the surface of a basic material 1 is composed of an insulator, is made by using an organic metal compound as the starting material and composed of a glass matrix formed by pyrolyzing the starting material, the metal of the resistor component element penetrating in the clearances of the atomic combinations of the matrix, and/or an oxide, on which a protective layer 4 is formed. In such a way, by using an organic metal compound as the starting material, and penetrating the metal in the clearances of the glass matrix by pyrolyzing the starting material, a transparent and an even composition of membrane can be produced, and an optimum resistance value as a heat-generating resistor can be obtained. |
