PURPOSE:To change speed steplessly with a small speed change shock, by making a sun friction gear whose operating portion diameter in the longitudinal direction of a shaft and a friction ring whose inside diameter changes in the reverse direction, in contact with each other through a planetary friction gears, and by displacing the friction gears in the longitudinal direction of a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A friction ring 3, whose inside diameter changes in the reverse direction is brought into frictional contact with a sun friction gear 1 whose operating portion diameter changes in the longitudinal direction of a rotary shaft, through plural planetary gears 2, and transmits the rotation. A basic shaft 6 of the friction ring 3 is supported on a basic shaft 4 of the sun friction gear 1 and can be moved in the axial direction. A rotating shaft 7 of the plural sun friction gears 2 is movable supported on a carrier 8 of a basic shaft (revolving shaft) 5 and the planetary friction gears 2 are pressed and released to and from the sun friction gear 1 by the movement of the friction ring 3, whereby the speed changes steplessly by the movement of the planetary friction gears 2. Thus, stepless speed change can be accomplished with a small speed change shock. |
