Vegetation structure - for greenery between and beside the rails of railway lines

If the permanent ways of railways are to be used for vegetation, it is suggested to apply plants (2) between the rail tracks (1) such as sedum, and plants (3) such as lean grass for the surrounds. The vegetation structure applied to the substrate (4) would be a layer (5) to prevent roots from passing, a porous layer (6) to store water and fertilizer, and a layer of earth (7). The layer (6) is preferably made of soft PU foam flocks, enriched with clay minerals and long-term fertilizer.
