<p>PURPOSE:To give a desired function to the substrate surface without fail by coating the substrate with an ionizing radiation-curable ink containing an additive for giving the function to the surface and subsequently irradiating the substrate with an ionizing radiation initially from a specified side thereof and then from both sides. CONSTITUTION:An ink is prepared by using an ionizing radiation-curable resin curable with an ionizing radiation such as ultraviolet rays or electron beam, a silicone, wax, a surfactant, a fluorinated compound and an additive such as an antistatic agent for giving an function to the surface and the obtained ink is subsequently applied to the surface of a substrate such as a plastic film. The substrate is then irradiated with an ionizing radiation from the reverse side of the substrate surface for giving the function and then furthermore irradiated with the ionizing radiation from either side or both sides of the above mentioned ink-coated substrate, thus giving a remarkable function to the substrate surface.</p> |
