The hydraulic braking system incorporates a circuit for wheelspin control. It has a master cylinder (2) and brakes (14, 15) for one or more wheels driven by an automotive engine, these being connected by a pipe. A pump (26) delivers via a pressure pipe into this pipe, and a stop valve shuts off the latter pipe between its connection to the pressure pipe and the master cylinder. Parallel to the stop valve is a pressure relief valve, cut in when wheelspin control is taking place. The stop and relief valves form a functional unit, cut in by the pressure difference between the pressure pipe and the master cylinder. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple and compact, without additional electronic components.
