发明名称 IMAGE RECEIVING FILM FOR THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the warpage of an image receiving film after recording even when an image is recorded under a high energy condition by using a base material formed by laminating at least two plastic films by an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A surface base material film 1 is bonded to a support base material film 3 through an adhesive layer 2 to form a base material 4. As the surface base material film 1, for example, a polyester film or a polypropylene film can be used. As the adhesive used in the adhesive layer 2, any one usable in dry lamination is used. As the support base material film 3, the material quality thereof may be same to or different from that of the surface base material film 1 but a combination such that the thermal deformation temp. of the support base material film 3 becomes higher than that of the surface base material film is pref. An image receiving layer 5 is formed on the surface on the side of the surface base material film 1 of the base material 4 in order to enhance the receptivity of transferred ink in a melting type thermal transfer method and in order to receive a sublimable dye in a sublimation type thermal transfer method.
