The pivoting luminous sign consists of a framing moulding (1) assembled by mitring in order to form a frame (2) on which two plates (3, 4) made of translucent material are laterally fixed; the moulding (1) includes a tubular housing of square cross-section in which a shaft is held, terminating at its ends in two bearing surfaces (16) each engaged in an oscillating ballbearing (22, 23) each fixed to a structural post (20, 21); the said bearings (22, 23) are provided so as to be mounted on anti-vibration supports. <IMAGE>
