PURPOSE:To prevent a signal line from being exerted with too large forces such as torsion by arranging the contacts of a connector in concentric circles, and providing a machine permitting components to be mechanically rotated about the center of the connector serving an axis of rotation. CONSTITUTION:A signal line connector consists of a plug 1 and a socket 2. The plug 1 consists of a rotating pin 14 located at the center thereof and ring- shaped contacts 11 to 13 concentrically surronding the pin 14. The rotating pin 14 of the plug 1 is inserted into the rotating pin socket 24 of the socket 2 and the contacts 11 to 13 are electrically connected to respective contacts 21 to 23 and held. When a movable portion for extension type packaging, etc., is moved the connector is exerted with torque and in this case the plug 1 and the socket 2 are alternately rotated about the rotating pin 14. However the contacts 11 to 13 and 21 to 23 are arranged in concentric circles and are therefore electrically connected to one another. |
