<p>The present invention relates to a fixation composition for carrying out the oxidative after-treatment in the permanent waving of hair based on an oxidizing agent and a cationic polymeric surfactant which additionally contains an alkali metal or ammonium salt of 2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxylic acid, and to a process for the permanent waving of hair using this fixation composition. The hair treated in this way is excellently conditioned and has a uniform reshaping.</p> |
