PURPOSE:To attain the efficient naming and change of a data item designation constituted of a substance name, attribute name, and range name, and to prevent the inconsistency among the substance name, attribute name, and range name. CONSTITUTION:A class definition chart 300 stores a class number, and a class name. A substance definition chart 310 is constituted of the list of a substance number, substance name, and class name. An attribute definition chart 320 is constituted of the list of an attribute number and the attribute name. A range definition chart 330 is constituted of the list of a range number and the range name. A class characteristic definition chart 350 indicates a relation among the substance name, attribute name, and range name. A naming processing part 30 displays the list of the substance name, attribute name, and range name, and sets the combination of the substance name, attribute name, and range name selected by a user with the corresponding number at a data item definition chart 340. At the same time, the command processing part 30 checks the consistency of the selected combination by referring to the class characteristic definition chart 350. |
