The invention relates to a piperazine derivative having the formula (* CHEMICAL STRUCTURE *) I wherein each (phi) is a phenyl group which may independently be substituted by one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, CF3, and halogen, and Y is O or S, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The piperazine derivatives have sigma receptor affinity, and may be used for the treatment of psychosis. |
