PURPOSE:To provide the information recording or reproducing device which can easily remove dust sticking on the external surface of an optical member mounted in the projection port of the fixed head. CONSTITUTION:The optical member 5 for preventing dust from entering the device is provided at the light beam projection port of the fixed head 10. A lever 13 is provided rotatably nearby and outside the light beam projection port of the fixed head 10 and a brush 14 is fixed to the lever 13 on the side of the optical member 5. The lever 13 is rotated against the force of a tension spring as the lower end 15a of a cartridge holder 15 moves down and rotated reversely by the tension spring when the cartridge 15 moves up. Namely, the brush 14 moves on the surface of the optical member 5 each time an optical disk 4 is taken in or out, thereby removing the dust. |
