A tempered glass manufacturing machine employing a drain is provided to enable to discharge or collect a sodium nitrate solution without the damages to human body. A tempered glass manufacturing machine employing a drain comprises the following units. A reinforcing furnace(10) has a heater for heating a sodium nitrate solution to reinforce the glass dipped therein and a drain pipe(12) through which the sodium nitrate solution accommodated in the reinforcing furnace is discharged to the outside. A main frame(20) supports the reinforcing furnace. A pivoting drive unit(40) discharges the sodium nitrate solution accommodated in the reinforcing furnace through the drain pipe to the outside according to the rotating movement of the reinforcing furnace.
