Disclosed herein is a method for extracting a biosubstance from a root of a hair, including the step of using as the hair a hair that has pulling force of at least a predetermined reference value to pull out the hair and a hair sampling device, the device comprising means to measure the pulling force applied to a hair upon pulling out said hair.
