BACK LIGHT UNIT AND LIQUID DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING OF THE SAME

A backlight unit including an index matching sheet and a liquid crystal display including the same are provided to improve the luminance and brightness of the liquid crystal display by preventing optical loss and reduce power consumption. A backlight unit(510) provides light on a liquid crystal panel and is mounted at the lower part of the liquid crystal panel(610). The liquid crystal panel is mounted on a mold frame(570). By taking advantage of the light coming out from the light source, the liquid crystal panel indicates the image. A color filter substrate implements the color of the image displayed through the liquid crystal panel.
