PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device and an electronic apparatus, wherein high luminance can be assured at low current. SOLUTION: An organic EL device includes a number of light-emitting elements 21 on which light-emitting layers are interposed between positive electrodes and negative electrodes, and a number of coloring layers 37R arranged corresponding to many light-emitting elements 21. The area of overlapping regions of each light-emitting region 23R of the light-emitting elements 21 and the coloring layers 37R corresponding to the light-emitting elements 21 when viewed from the planar surface is formed smaller than that of the light-emitting regions 23R.
