PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel suitable for collapsible zoom lenses desiring high magnification and achieving simplification, miniaturization, low cost and the like. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a fixed cylinder 20 having a cam groove 21 making cam action in an optical axis direction; a cam cylinder 30 having cam grooves 33, 34 for being moved in the optical axis direction by receiving cam action with the cam groove of the fixed cylinder and making cam action in the optical axis direction; and a plurality of lens frames 41, 51, 71 movably arranged in the optical axis direction. The plurality of the lens frames are divided into two lens frames 41, 51 moved in the optical axis direction by receiving cam action of the cam cylinder 30 and one lens frame 71 moved in the optical axis direction by receiving cam action of the fixed cylinder 20. Thus, the structure of the cam cylinders is simplified as compared with a composition exerting cam action on the whole lens frame by one cam cylinder, simplification, miniaturization, a low cost and the like of the lens barrel as a whole are achieved.
