PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shape a high accuracy shaped article in an optimum shaping time. SOLUTION: A control part 17 sets the largest rectangular domain which is a rectangular domain internally contacted with solid model cross-sectional shape data. One apex of the largest rectangular domain serves as an origin, and in accordance with a small work domain which is a division of a whole work domain wherein optical shaping work is carried out into a plurality of rectangular domains, the solid model cross-sectional shape data are divided to produce small work domain data which are cross-sectional shape data corresponding to the small work domain. With regard to a package exposure optical system 12 and a beam scanning optical system 13, the present invention which exposes a photo-curable resin from the produced small work domain data, for example, can be applied to an optical shaping apparatus.
