The action has a set of buttons (1) and a switch (2) interconnected for both shift registers (3) and playing aid of a playing table by an electronic shift register latch-device with a data processing system (4). States of the buttons and the switch are detected by the system. The system is connected with another data processing system (5) with a controller (6) for magnets (7) for switching valves corresponding to the states of a pipe organ i.e. wind chest. The systems with controller area network (CAN)-functionality are connected with each other by a wire-bound and/or wireless network.
