摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal wire material storage body as a storage form capable of significantly reducing frequency of coil collapse phenomenon after transportation and after long term storage. SOLUTION: The metal wire material storage body 1 is provided with a synthetic resin spool 20 and the metal wire material 10 (the wire diameter is 50μm or shorter and the coefficient of thermal expansion in a temperature range from 0°C to 20°C is 10×10<SP>-6</SP>/°C or lower) wound around an outer circumferential surface of the synthetic resin spool 20. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the synthetic resin spool 20 in the temperature range from 0°C to 20°C is tenfold of the coefficient of thermal expansion of the metal wire material 10 in a temperature range from 0°C to 20°C or lower or 100×10<SP>-6</SP>/°C or lower.
