PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a joint failure and a damage of a whole flexible board are easily generated due to an extension or a contraction by giving a large amount of heat since it is made wider in order to reduce a resistance of common electrodes. SOLUTION: The liquid discharge head comprises: an oscillating board 2 forming at least a part of wall surfaces of a liquid chamber 6 with which a nozzle 4 for discharging liquid droplets communicates; a piezoelectric element member 12 equipped with two or more piezoelectric element pillars 12A, 12B with predetermined intervals for deforming the oscillating board 2; common external electrodes 25 to be used as common electrodes which are formed on one end surface, in the direction orthogonal to the arranged direction of the piezoelectric elements, of the piezoelectric element pillars 12B in one end part side of the piezoelectric element member 12; individual external electrodes 23 to be used as individual electrodes formed on the piezoelectric element pillars 12A; and FPC15 which is provided with common electrode wiring 31B connected to the common external electrodes 25 and individual electrode wiring 31A connected to the individual external electrodes 23.
