PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wipe recovery means that is optimum when a long-size head is used in an inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device includes at least one recording head 1 for ejecting ink and forming images, and a wipe blade 22 corresponding to the recording head 1 for wiping the ink ejection surface of the recording head 1. As the wipe blade 22 is advanced diagonally with respect to the direction of alignment of ink ejection nozzles of the recording head 1, the ink ejection surface of the recording head 1 is cleaned.
