<p>A washing machine in which transmission of vibration of an outer tank, caused by rotation of a rotating drum, from a base to a frame is suppressed. In a frame (101) surrounding an outer tank (4), the lower end (106A) of a left face plate (106), the lower end (107A) of a right face plate (107), and the lower end (108A) of a rear face plate (108) are screwed to the base (102). On the other hand, a front portion of the frame (101)(specifically, a front left portion (111), a front right portion (112), and second connection plate (110)) and a control box (12) screwed to the front portion of the frame (101) are not fixed to the base (102). The construction suppresses transmission of vibration of the outer tank (4), caused by rotation of the drum (5), from the base (102) to the front portion of the frame (101), where the front portion is a highly visible portion of the washing machine (1).</p> |
