<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device equipped with an RFID function and a function to participate a power line communication system via electromagnetic induction communications with a predetermined coupler. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device performs two types of communications, one by a power line and the other by electromagnetic induction type RFID, and uses one and the same coil for both communications. The communication device is designed appropriate in terms of space and cost, and deterioration in performance by interference between coils can be eliminated. For a mobile phone, the mobile phone is usually used as a RFID device and therefore is controlled in such a manner that the coil is usually connected to the RFID communication section side and is connected to the power line communication modem side when so instructed by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
