<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in a component recognition error rate due to component lot changes for component replenishment without reducing the rate of operation of equipment. <P>SOLUTION: Data manager PC7 is operated to obtain and analyze management data of a component mounter 1 from a line supervisor PC5 and to identify an electronic component on the component mounter 1 that caused a recognition error. The data manager PC7 receives an image of the electronic component that caused the recognition error from a personal computer 3 corresponding to the component mounter 1, analyzes the image of the electronic component that caused the recognition error, and corrects data in a component library. The data manager PC7 performs recognition processing on the image related to the recognition error according to the corrected component library data. When determined that all recognitions are acceptable, the data manager PC7 sends the corrected component library data to the line supervisor PC5.
