摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device, with which superior display quality is materialized by improving the aperture ratio, while preventing light leakages among pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal layer 400 held in between a pair of substrates, and is such that in a display area 120, equipped with a plurality of pixels PX, there are provided a pixel electrode 230 arranged by each pixel PX; a counter electrode 330 disposed so as to be opposite to the pixel electrode 230 via the liquid crystal layer 400; a scanning line Y arranged along a row direction of the pixel PX; a signal line X arranged along a column direction of the pixel PX; and a conductive layer 260 arranged between mutually adjacent pixel electrodes 230 and being opposite to the counter electrode 330 via the liquid crystal layer 400, and having an electric potential for producing a black display voltage, with respect to the electric potential of the counter electrode 330. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
