PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic reply telephone system, telephone terminal, and automatic reply method capable of absolutely dialing back with fuss-free operation. SOLUTION: When a telephone book stored in an AP server 2 is displayed on a display part 535 of a softphone 5A and one user terminal 3 of them is specified to the person to be called, the operating situation of the user terminal 3 displayed on the telephone book by an agent 531 is checked. For "busy line" or "leaving one's seat", the dialing back is set. An IPPBX1 does not connect the incoming call from the third-party even though the call comes in from the third-party to the soft phone 5A. Meanwhile, upon the completion of the busy state of the user terminal 3 with its dialing back set, or by an dialing back call automatically originated upon returning to seat, the user terminal 3 with its dialing back set and the softphone 5A are connected through the IP network.
